Extruded Geocomposite
Extruded Geocomposite materials are designed to meet the needs for unidirectional or bidirectional geogrids in various infrastructure applications, offering separation, drainage, and reinforcement in a single product.
They are produced by combining rectangular polypropylene (PP) extruded geogrids with geotextiles. High performance is achieved through a specially designed stitching method at the nodes to ensure added strength.
Applications and Usage Areas:
- Geocomposites, produced as unidirectional or bidirectional depending on project requirements, are generally designed for stabilization between fill layers of different particle sizes or between weak soil and granular fill.
- Airport runway, apron, and taxiway foundations
- Construction of airport drainage systems
- New railway line construction
- High-speed rail track construction
- Road projects on weak soil
- Road widening embankment applications
- As a bedding layer in soil pile applications
- Foundations of container storage areas, ports, and industrial buildings
- Geogridlerin tüm özelliklerini sunarken aynı zamanda drenaj ve ayırma amaçlı olarak da çalışır.
- İki ayrı ürünün performansını tek bir üründe sunarak, uygulama kolaylığı ve işçilik tasarrufu sağlar.
- Su problemi olan zayıf zeminlerin üzerine uygulanarak granüler dolgunun zeminin alt tabakasına doğru batmasını engeller.
Geokompozitleri, maksimum 6 m eninde ve 50 m boyunda rulo olarak üretilmektedir. Her rulo UV etkilerine karşı korumalı ambalajda sevk edilmektedir.
Üst üste depolanması durumunda en fazla 6 sıra konulması, rulo enlerinin (2 m’ye kadar) daha kısa olması durumunda ise ruloların dik olarak yüklenmesi ve depolanması tavsiye edilir.
