Pool and Pond Waterproofing
Pool and Irrigation Pond Waterproofing is carried out using geomembranes and offers long-lasting, maintenance-free performance due to its superior resistance to natural conditions, plant roots, algae, salts present in soil and water, and many chemicals.
For pool and pond waterproofing, geosynthetic products must withstand long-term chemical and physical conditions, comply with the most stringent industry quality standards, and ensure high durability.
Since geomembranes maintain their elasticity and structural stability, even under extreme conditions—tested between –40 °C and 120 °C—no tearing, cracking, or breaking that could compromise water tightness has been observed.
Materials Used in Erosion Control
Tests have shown that ozone, which causes deterioration of materials used for pond and irrigation channel waterproofing over time and creates serious problems, has no harmful effect on certain membranes.
Materials are selected based on the specific requirements of pond and pool waterproofing projects. In these applications, Geotech Geomembranes are often used together with Jeotech Geotextiles and Fortech Geogrid materials to reinforce the ground.
