Geofen EPDM GeomembraneIt is a highly flexible elastomeric polymer formed by the synthesis of ethylene, propylene and a very small amount of diene-monomer followed by the addition of carbon and the treatment of various oils and binders.
Epdm preserves its physical properties for many years.
Rubber is produced from Epdm-based synthetic elastomer. It has superior resistance to UV rays and ozone effect compared to its counterparts. It does not lose any of its properties in sudden temperature changes between -40°C and +120°C.
EPDM Geomembrane Application and Usage Areas
Geofen Epdm Geomembrane is applied by combining its strips on the roof or terrace or laying the pre-assembled or prepared EPDM Geomembrane in panel form, in the dimensions of the surface to be insulated.
It is used in the following areas.

- It is long-lasting thanks to its special resin containing antioxidant and carbon black.
- It has high strength and elongation values.
- It is resistant to chemical effects.
- It has high UV resistance thanks to its carbon black.
- Thanks to its special welding method, it provides the opportunity to perform air pressure stripping and peeling tests from the joints.
- The size of the roll sizes ensures that the application is fast and practical in large-area projects.
- It can also be applied to products with roughness on one or both sides and in areas with high slopes.
- Lower density (LLDPE, VLDPE) materials can also be produced for usage options in different applications.
The materials are shipped in rolls with a width of 1.6 – 2.1 m and a length of 20 -25 m.
Materials should be stored on flat ground and indoors. Stored products should be kept away from direct sunlight, heat and ignition sources.
If EPDM Geomembrane cover rolls need to be stored outdoors for a long time, they should be covered to protect them from sunlight.
