Celltech Geocell or GeocellIt is a material formed by ultrasonic or thermal welding of strips produced from HDPE or PE alloy raw material at certain intervals. When the panels are stretched open, they become a cellular structure. These cells can be used as a kind of flower pot that can be filled with material in slope applications.
The working principle of Geocell is to form a surface resistant to the erosion effect of rain and wind when applied on the slope. This surface prevents material on the natural slope surface from flowing down. It reduces the flow rate of rain and breaks the carrier effect of water. When greening is achieved, soil, geocells and plants together form a composite resistance layer.

It is fixed to the ground with iron or polymer rods on slopes with a properly prepared surface. It is ensured that the material filled with the anchor trenches is fixed on the slope.
GeoCell panels are combined with materials such as locked plastic strips and staples. If there are materials such as geomembrane that will be damaged by the anchor rods under the geocell at the application site, it can be applied with the help of ropes and fixing parts between the anchor trenches on the top and heel. It is generally applied on top of non-woven or knitted geotextiles to prevent the soil placed inside from draining from the bottom.
