TPO Membranes

TPO/FPO Membrane

TPO/FPO Membraneis a thermoplastic polyolefin based waterproofing membrane. It is produced from a mixture of polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Thus, TPO membranesProvides resistance to sunlight, atmospheric conditions and plant roots. Thus, it is defined as a new technological product that offers a long service life due to its high level of puncture, tear and abrasion resistance.

TPO membranes are designed for waterproofing on all roofs exposed to harsh weather conditions and sunlight. In this way, it is possible to apply it more quickly and easily. TPO membranes can also be applied directly on EPS thermal insulation boards.

TPO membrane is widely used in the following applications:

Features of TPO/FPO Membrane

  • It has a flexible and durable structure.
  • It shows high performance in water and air insulation.
  • It is resistant to UV rays.
  • It is resistant to chemicals.
  • It is fireproof and flame retardant.
  • It is easy to maintain.

The main features of TPO/FPO membranes are:

  • Longevity: It has high resistance to sunlight and atmospheric conditions. Thus, it can be used without any problems for many years.
  • Elasticity: It has high elasticity. For this reason, it is resistant to deformations that occur on roofs.
  • Mechanical strength: Since they have high mechanical strength, they are resistant to puncture, tear and abrasion.
  • Wind resistance: They have high wind resistance properties. Thus, it is resistant to damage that may be caused by wind.
  • Flammability: Fireproof TPO membranes reduce the risk of fire.
